Meet Jackie Skillman – Nurse Practitioner & Founder
Raised on a family farm, Jackie learned early the value of hard work, compassion, and caring for others. With over five years of experience as a nurse practitioner, she blends clinical expertise with genuine empathy to provide personalized medical care.
Jackie founded this Patient First Primary Care practice to give patients more—more time, more conversations, and more trust. Passionate about enhancing healthcare access, she understands that healthcare can be overwhelming and expensive, especially for families without insurance. That’s why she is dedicated to creating an affordable, transparent model that works for everyone. Her goal is simple: to make high-quality care accessible, personal, and rooted in trust.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, crafting, and life on the farm with her husband, son, and animals.

Meet Dr. Gregory Oliver - Co-Founder
Dr. Gregory A. Oliver is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine based in Avon, Indiana, with a focus on family medicine and preventive care. With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Oliver is passionate about providing healthcare that puts patients not insurance companies at the center of every decision.
As a co-founder of Patients First Primary Care, Dr. Oliver believes that quality care begins with time, trust, and transparency. Through the Direct Primary Care model, he is able to spend more time with each patient, build stronger relationships, and provide comprehensive care without the stress of surprise bills or rushed appointments.
His approach is simple: accessible, affordable, and personal care designed around your life. From managing chronic conditions to preventive visits and wellness goals, Dr. Oliver’s mission is to make every patient feel heard, supported, and confident in their health journey.
